Haul: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure

Thursday, January 3, 2013
Hi beauties,

This is a late quick night haul. I just got back from Walgreens and got a few of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish. They had a special at Walgreens Buy 1 Get 1 Equal/Less value 50% OFF. The actual retail price is $7.99 but they had it at $6.99 (with Walgreens Card), the second one you get it for $3.49.

The Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 7 Benefits of a Salon Manicure in 1 Bottle: base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon-inspired color, top coat, chip-resistance and a gel finish all in 1 bottle which in my opinion, its just great!. I would have loved to purchase the rest of the colors if I had a discount coupon to add into this offer. I won't be adding any swatches of these colors tonight, but will do so on my next post. However, here's the colors I got along with the names & color number.

Review & Swatches: Sally Hansen Magnetic

Tuesday, January 1, 2013
Happy New Years! to all of you beauties.
I'm taking this moment to let you guys know that I left this review for today because I was way too busy these past few days and didn't had the time to post it. Well, lets get to it!...

I received two of the eight shades for review, and I would like to share with you my honest & personal opinion in case you've been planning on purchasing them. By now, we know that there are many other magnetic polishes being sold and they can be found at various drugstores and beauty supplies.

Sally Hansen's new magnetic nail trend line allows you to create a 3D nail art effect in a matter of seconds. The bristles of the brush are short, flat and wide, allowing it to spread evenly and covering the entire nail in just one stroke and not leaving any stroke lines. This magnetic nail polish contains small metal particles that react to the magnet by holding the built-in magnet over the wet polish to reveal a unique design on the nail. This process is really easy and simple, however it might require a little practice at first in order to get the hang of it.

It is recommended to apply a base coat before applying the magnetic nail polish. After doing so, shake the magnetic nail color so it can be activated then apply one coat to your nails and set to dry. After it has dried, you must apply a thicker coat of the nail color onto the nail - which in this case a thin layer worked fine for me and immediately hold the built-in magnet over the nail. Rest the guide just below the cuticle but make sure not to lower it too much, for this can cause you to smudge the wet polish. You'll need to wait approximately 10-15 seconds and finish with a top coat.

In addition, I noticed that the magnet is very convenient and large enough to create the desired effect even on the longest & widest nails. When it comes to drying time, it dries pretty fast and smoothly with no bubbles or bumps. It also has a long lasting wear with no chips after 3 days of use. There was one particular thing that I noticed, and it's that you are able to feel the tingling magnetic attraction when you place it close to the nail.

Overall, it's a very good product. I will definitely purchase the rest of the colors because I consider it worked really well for me on all levels. The colors look as good as regular nail polish without the magnet, so that's a bonus.

I know I'm still at it!(laugh out loud).I've been struggling doing Christmas shopping and having my two boys tag along with me and my husband can turn out to be a big screaming chaos. However, it sorta felt good leaving my oldest boy over his grandma this morning, and we took the baby with us. It allow us to shop for his Christmas gifts without him finding out what "Santa" is getting him and stay stress free as well. Addition to that I found some great gifts you can give out this year.

2 Weeks: Nailene SensatioNail Color Gel Polish

Monday, December 10, 2012
Hi beauties!

It has been 2 weeks since the Nailene SensatioNail Polish Gel review and swatch application. I am totally loving it! It didn't chip what so ever, and the only thing you can notice from the picture is the growth of my nails.

Just in case you're wondering if I had artificial nails on, yes! I had just done my gel nails before doing the product review and applying the color gel on them. I actually didn't had in mind using this gel color over my artificial clear gel nails. However, I was to excited to wait and try out the SensatioNail gel polish the day I bought it, that I just had to apply it.

In this next picture I demonstrate how I cut the length of the artificial nails before soaking and wrapping them.

When doing this following step, to your natural nails it will take approximately 15 - 20 minutes and it all depends how many coats of gel you had applied onto your actual nail. When soaking your nails with acetone, the process is pretty easy and quick. While pressing onto the foil & cotton, you will begin to pull it away from your nail - noticing that your nail will no longer have gel polish and appearing undamaged and healthy.

Ta da! Final results and my nails are looking healthy and with their natural shine. I always like to cut my nails after removing any artificial nails - its my own personal taste & habit, Lol. Hope you enjoy this post and if you have any questions - don't hesitate on asking.

Save Money...Shopping Online Beauty Store

Saturday, December 1, 2012

You can save money by shopping at an online beauty store. With the economy the way that it is, everyone is looking for the most they can get for their dollar. As busy as everyone's life is we are looking for easier and more convenient ways to shop and get what we need. When you put these two together, you find that online beauty supply stores are helping everyone achieve both tasks. We can compare prices, products and read product reviews. We can get deals for things that are not even offered in our local area. Shopping at online beauty supply stores has never been easier and never more convenient than it is right now.

Here are seven great reasons to find a deal at your finger tips:

* You have the ability to compare different products and reviews of products. When you buy something in the salon all you have is the word of the sales staff. Online, you can find many recommendations or warnings from other people who have tried the products.

* Many places offer incentives to purchase their products from their online sites. They may offer a wider variety of products and lower prices than their retail shops. It is easier for them to ship from a centralized location and they lower their overall cost. They can then pass this savings on to you, the customer.

* Is it the middle of the night and you just want to look at eye creams? You can do that online. You can look it up and compare the ingredients and prices all from the comfort of your own home. And you can order and have it delivered straight to your door.

* Many places have where you can set up recurring orders. Are you always running out of your favorite shampoo? Have it set on an auto-delivery. This way you know that it is going to be delivered from your online beauty supply store right on time, before you run out.

* Online beauty supply stores can offer a wider variety at a lower cost. Since they have no retail store, they are not concerned with space and display. They can offer you lower prices because they do not have the same overhead and costs of a brick and mortar store.

* You can shop around to get the very best price. Online beauty product stores know they have to be competitive to stay in business. Customers are now given the option to compare stores and prices with the click of a mouse. They can see who has the lowest price and the best shipping cost. It doesn't take as long or cost as much as it does driving around town to find the best price.

* If you don't like it just mail it back. Most online beauty stores have great, hassle free return policies. They understand that you are buying the product online, and have not had the opportunity to physically look at it. Most have return policies that rival retail stores.

While shopping online may not be for everyone, for savvy shoppers that are internet friendly it can provide beauty products at a fraction of the retail price. You can sign up for newsletter with coupon codes and keep up to date on current sales and specials so you can keep on top of things and not miss a deal online at an online beauty store.
